Hmmm...that looks like an much wider ROW than what I remember to actually be there....but hey, if they can make it work....

That would actually be a decent plan.


So, why so much opposition? Because the New Urbanists there really want to turn downtown I-35 into a at-grade surface boulevard??


If that's the case, then they can also pay for buying out the concessions for SH 130 and SH 45S and making them the new I-35 bypass.

Exactly. Make them pay for their demands. Roads are not free and need not be stylish.
