Hasn't it always been "BP, selling Amoco fuel" ? Or did they take a break from that?
They took a break from it.

Anyway, here's a bad photo of the newly rebranded Amoco in Midlothian. It was a Shell before.

Olive Garden must be stopped.  I must stop them.

Don't @ me. Seriously.

And back in Illinois, where Amoco was HQ'd.

Amoco gas stations return to Chicago area after nearly 20 years as BP brings back the brand
I drove past one in the city last weekend.

Yup drove by one as well last week, had to do a double take!
The BP at McCormick and Golf in Evanston is also an Amoco now.

It's so weird that they're so bright and colorful. I remember when Amoco stations were all black except for the Amoco logo.

I'm betting the one in St Louis at Skinker Road exit from I-64/US 40 will be rebranded Amoco -- since it has the giant "Amoco" sign that is a protected US Landmark, still at the station

Just a guess...
Bringing back an old prediction in an old thread...because of a KMOX news story

This is St Louis's first "new"  Amoco, since BP brought back the Brand. The article also mentions that this is the only existing BP, at least in St Louis, being rebranded (back) to Amoco

I would've expected BP to do this sooner after their big fuck up in the Gulf.
Kind of like how all those bail-out banks changed their names 10 years ago.

As of this past summer there is now an Amoco in Bellevue, OH

It is a station location that has changed brands many times in the past 20 years:

BP --> Citgo --> Valero --> Shell --> Amoco

catch22

Came across a new Amoco in Port Huron, MI while traveling on Thanksgiving.  It's a former Shell station located on M-25 (Pine Grove Ave.) just north of Garfield Street.
