Vermont Street or Lombard Street Crookedest Street in San Francisco

California's Gold did a segment on this back in 2011
But its interesting that Vermont Street does not attract as many Tourists as Lombard does.

That's because Russian Hill has a better view than the west side of Potrero Hill.

Not to mention that the Lombard switchbacks begin right at a stop on the Powell-Hyde cable car line: way more accessible to tourists too.

Lombard is a much nicer neighborhood.

Plus, only a few blocks away Lombard is a major street, US 101 connector to the Golden Gate Bridge.  If you're driving and don't turn at Van Ness, well, down the crooked street you go.  But Vermont is tucked away in a quieter anyway.
