Alberta's Highways

<< < (23/25) > >>

Are there any good road photographers from Alberta?  I search on the goog every now and then, but it doesn't seem like good photos of Alberta's roads are all that common on the interwebs.

Great Lakes Roads:
The southwest segment of AB-216 (Anthony Henday Drive) has been widened to three lanes each way, and it's expected to carry up to 120k vehicles a day (currently, it's at around 80k vehicles a day).

Great Lakes Roads:

"After receiving data from across the province, Alberta’s government is taking the first step of banning photo radar on ring roads in Calgary and Edmonton starting Dec. 1."

These sites were used for revenue generating, NOT for traffic safety!

We are excited to celebrate a major milestone in Airdrie's growth and progress. This $65 million project will connect communities, enhance safety and boost economic development. In collaboration with EllisDon and Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors, we are proud to deliver this project on time and on budget.

A big THANK YOU to Airdrie residents, developers, community groups and businesses. You've been instrumental in making this happen!

I estimate it may be Exit 280, but does anyone know for sure?
