I-10 expansion between San Antonio and Houston

In addition to the I-10 expansion, how about also improving the control cities/towns on exit signs.  For example, on I-10 in Schulenburg, the exit for US-77 reads "Schulenburg/LaGrange".  Drivers already know they're at Schulenburg, so how about a sign that reads "Hallettsville/LaGrange" or "Victoria/LaGrange".

Same thing in Flatonia.  At the TX-95 interchange reads "Flatonia/Smithville", which I believe should read "Moulton/Smithville" instead.  You get the idea:  replace the current town's name with a town located many miles down the road.

Personally regarding Schulenburg, I still have the belief that US-77 will eventually rerouted around Schulenburg (leaving US-77 Business in its current route through the town).  Then the bypass exit for US-77 could read "Victoria/Waco"
We're so far south that we're not even considered "The South"

This is great to see.  The project endpoints are a little confusing, since the article refers to TX 123 and TX 130 as endpoints, but that's only 4 miles, not 8 as mentioned in the article. Either way, it is an important step towards closing the four-lane gap between San Antonio to TX 130 which will reduce congestion on I-10 and allow for increased usage of TX 130 as an alternate to I-35.
