Skylines of Small Cities you would Cover in Strange Concoctions
« on: December 15, 2022, 02:54:19 PM »

This needs to be separate from the "middle of roundabout" thread.

Step 1: Choose a small city; create a replica of its skyline
Step 2: Create a strange concoction
Step 3: Cover the replica in your concoction

 I have already done:
Sidney, NE covered in extra sharp cheddar, havarti, gorgonzola, and cottage cheeses
Hays, KS covered in dead cockroaches, Hellman's mayo, sugar, and eggplant puree
St. Ignace, MI covered in charbroiled mealworms, asparagus puree, pan-fried drywall, tomato seeds, and lowfat Greek yogurt

What are your ideas?

Thousand islands dressing would be more fitting.

How about a big city?  A section of Boston got covered with molasses on January 15, 1919.  At least twenty-one people were killed and 150 were injured.  It was hard to clean up during the Winter, so the stench in the Summer lasted for at least two decades.

That goes in "Skylines of Large Cities already Covered in Strange Concoctions", sir.

As for my selection, let's cover the skyline of Wheeler, Texas with bacon grease.

I thought this was a Tim thread at first, so I’m going to cover the Sesame Street skyline in gum that was buyed in the early 1980s.

Wheeler, Texas with bacon grease.

That goes in "Skylines of Small Towns you would Cover in a Single Ingredient", sir.

As for my selection, let's cover the skyline of Jefferson City, MO, with Karo Pancake Syrup, pistachio flour, sun-dried tomato strips, and silver dragées.

 NO

How many tacos would that require?
How many airplanes and/or helicopters would be needed for the air drop?
What would be the total cost of the project?
How much jail time would he get?

How many tacos? -> Probably more than five
How many planes? -> A gross, four score, and seven
 Total cost? -> 435.6 Numberwangs
How much jail time? -> More than 4 minutes

I would cover the skyline of Bloomington, IN, with cakes shaped like an interstate shields and frosted with I-69 signs.

I'll cover Dickinson, ND with parboiled weevils, fettuccine pasta, hot pepper jelly, spikes from a porcupine, and used coffee grounds.

Reminds me of my favorite limerick.

A dozen, a gross and a score
plus three times the square root of four
all over seven
plus five times eleven
is nine squared and not a bit more

The Denton, Texas skyline would be easy to cover. The Morrison's silo coupled with the twin towers of TWU.
