here's a nice little game - guess the cities by what Interstates pass through them or into them.  see how fast it takes you.

Revive 755

I could get more time remaining than 7:02 if I could spell decently without spellcheck :)

While fun, the game takes too many liberties or is completely wrong with some cities.

xonhulu

I had 7:09 to spare.  The real limit on performance is how well you can type quickly, not knowing the cities.  I'm sure every roadgeek worth his/her salt has no trouble identifying the towns.  And Revive 755 is right: it does take some liberties with the "passing through" part, like I-80 in Chicago.

jdb1234

I did it with about 6 minutes to spare, the hardest part for me was trying to spell Albuquerque.

Greybear

I did it with 7 minutes to spare. Like jdb, my hardest one to spell was Albuquerque.

Alps

7:26 (but i can type faster than most)

would've beaten 9 had I realized that, apparently, I-59 goes to New Orleans these days.

(and I-95, to Boston.  Hah!)

I had 6:45 to spare. I struggled a bit to figure out where I-91 and I-95 intersected.

I got it with 7:10 to spare. Had to copy Albuquerque from here because it seemed too hard  :-D

Since when did I-29 go into Omaha?

Chris

I think you need to consider the urban area, not precisely the city proper.

Anyway, what's so hard about Albuquerque? I always think like: "Albu - quer-que". Quite easy.

I always start out "Albe"... the ambiguous schwa is the toughest spelling to intuitively guess at in the English language.  It cost me a shot at going to the national spelling bee in eighth grade!

I-70 hasn't entered Pittsburgh since the early 60s, and I-76 and I-79 haven't since the early 70s.

7:49 left. Would've done better, but got flubbed on New Haven (91-95). Couldn't think of which city in CT they met at, so I kept typing out names until I hit it.

Obviously, it's not exactly the municipality, but the general city reference people think of when going to/through a city.

Nice game. Did one for another topic before.
