Well one block of St. Paul Ave has been closed for a few weeks as construction has begun on the bridge.

Google around for more articles, all basically have the same information.

The cool part is the one block of Clybourn St north of this has been turned into a two-way.

Have used it twice so far... more handy than the previous setup if you're exiting from I-43S or I-94W to plankington but ACTUALLY want to get over to St. Paul / 3rd ward.

This could possibly something that could be merged with the "Wisconsin Notes" thread.

Doesn't have to be.

Milwaukee has been steadily fixing up or replacing all the downtown bridges over the Milwaukee River for over a decade now.  Not many other places in America where you could be constantly fixing movable bridges for so many years.  Chicago is one.  Maybe all those Harlem River crossings in NYC.

Prior to the Marquette Interchange rebuild, this part of St. Paul Ave was one-way EB.  With the reconfiguration to the ramps serving 2nd St and Plankinton Ave, it was converted to a two way street.
