Needs a better link.

Here's the press release:

Quote
JACKSON, MISS., Monday, November 19, 2012--- The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) is offering the State Highway 7 Tallahatchie River Steel Truss Bridge in Lafayette County to the  public for relocation, preservation, and maintenance. Built in 1953, the 3-span structure has been determined eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.  The bridge will soon be replaced and because of its historic status must be removed in compliance with Federal regulations.

Interested individuals or organizations may submit relocation and preservation proposals for the truss spans only which will be reviewed by the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, the Federal Highway Administration, and MDOT. If a relocation proposal is approved, MDOT will reimburse the recipient the relocation cost provided it does not exceed the estimated cost of the demolition as determined by MDOT. The transfer deed will include preservation covenants which will require the new owner to preserve and maintain the structure and its architectural elements in accordance with standards established by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.  In addition, potential recipients will assume all legal and financial responsibilities associated with the bridge.

Interested parties should present a formal proposal by December 20, 2012, to: Mitch Turner/MDOT District Engineer/PO Box 660/Batesville, MS 38606/ 662-563-4541.

The link at the top of the press release sends one back to the listings.  The above press release is currently seventh from the top and entitled "MDOT Offers Bridge for Relocation".

It's a Microsoft Sharepoint site and does not offer more direct hotlinking. As for an image, it's not that impressive of a truss: http://goo.gl/maps/D0AI4

Have you ever heard of "open link in new tab"?

Note: you may think this is the same as middle clicking, but it isn't.  Sites can override middle click, but they can't override this.

Any and every truss is impressive.  It's an inherently cool design.

Mobile device. (PS: I'm a Microsoft Sharepoint developer. It's not mobile friendly.)
