Trinity tollroad in Dallas delayed by Levee Evaluations

The start of construction on this road is being delayed to make sure the levees can withstand an 800 year flood event.

That road has been proposed since 1930. It's a bit of a running joke here. I have a bet with a friend that I will give him $100 when that road opens to traffic. Kicker: We made the bet in 1993.
