I have another,

Over winter, we drove on I-40 from Gallup, NM to the junction with I-81 in eastern Tennessee. It was part of a longer trip, but we saw 1600 miles of I-40 in the span of about 30 hours. It was a grueling drive, but looking back it was incredible to see that much of the country from one interstate. For that reason, I-40 will always hold a place in my heart.

I've always wanted to travel on I-40 all the way cross-country, but my wallet keeps telling me "UH-UH!". It also doesn't help that my Jeep has seen better days. I've been on I-40 from Wilmington, NC to Knoxville, TN but that's all.

In the meantime, I've settled for Google Streetview. :spin:

I've never been on it, but I'd have to imagine I-15 is one of the most scenic Interstates.
What's not to like about highways and bridges, intersections and interchanges, rails and planes?

I-66 From Strasburg to Gainsville, VA. I drive it several time a month and never tire of it. I was fortunate enough to watch most of it built, so that makes it special as well. I loved the section between Gainsville to the Beltway before widening. The Cherry and Dogwood trees in the median were so attractive. But that doesn't move the traffic...

I-84 from I-80 to I-15 in Odgen UT. Only drove it once and it was breathtaking.

I'm a big fan of I-81 south of Binghamton. And of course, the local section of I-84 is near and dear to to my heart.  :D

Agree.  I grew up in Manassas in the '70s and '80s, so I remember when the section west of Gainesville was first opened.  Between Haymarket and Marshall is some of the prettiest country I know.

I-77 in VA from I-81 south to the NC state line has some breathtaking views, and its quite the engineering feat.

Between Billings and Chicago, I-90 is slightly more scenic than I-94, and I love the fact that Mt. Rushmore is close by.

Also, any Interstate that traverses a mountain range (I-25 along the Rockies comes to mind) is always a pleasure to ride on.

Can't go wrong with Michigan's Big Road, I-75.

I-5, the whole thing, but particular nods to the Grapevine and the Redding-Eugene portion.
I-84 through the Columbia River Gorge and the Blue Mountains
I-90, Coeur d'Alene-Missoula and near Winona (MN)
Adding I-238, because 238 :bigass:

If you like I-210 (the CA version), you'll love CA 210!  Newer pavement, interchanges, etc.  You get to view suburban sprawl up close & personal!   :sombrero:
