^^ Off-note, bit I thought all Georgis route markers signs were black on white, except 515 (blue) and 520 (green).

Haven't had people post in a long time, but this here overhead in Fort Lauderdale, FL is one sign assembly that says too much.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

There's an equally large one on AL 117 right around the corner from that, lol.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

Someone probably shared this before, but whatever.  Here's my photo of it, NY 414 at I-86, with Truck NY 415:

11 straight, 117 L-R, get rid of all the TO banners. You can cut this mini-monstrosity down to 2 signs.

And a one-legged I-99 sign, no less.
From the land of red, white, yellow and black.

I-59 is just up the road on AL 117, so it should probably stick around. AL 40 is also not too much further beyond, and it also serves as being the quickest route to Scottsboro (and Huntsville) from here. In fact, it forms part of the shortest route between Huntsville and Atlanta.

40 just sort of suddenly becomes 117, and I've always thought that should have been the number which heads to Mentone and the state line.

Google Maps certainly seems to think AL 40 continues to US 11 as well:
