"Next Exit ___ Miles" is such a Nebraska thing, so I found a few there.

This photo provides two possibilities for 7: Either play the VA state route, or the distance to Alexandria.

Unless I read the rules wrong, you have to match the number 7 or the Arkansas state route shield.

That's correct. You can't "jump" from one sign to another unless there's a path between them in the same photo.

Modification to the rules: elements of signs count as their own sign, based on Henry's post (although if the distance sign had been used, the next one would still have had to have been for Alexandria). I have updated the OP.

Assuming the Exits 5A-B is not a valid play, I'll play off Arkansas 7 with a US 7 at its highest elevation in southwestern Vermont.  January 1, 2018.

More US routes, first shot at 2 and another at 85. This one in Williston ND, right after its US routes were thoroughly rearranged:

Assuming either the "2"  and/or the "85"  can be played off of? I'll let the next poster decide which, cause I'm playing off both

Rules clarification: On a number like "3"  can "$3.00"  be played to satisfy a "3"  play?

Yes, as can mile marker 3.0.

Keeping the Interstate shield, and playing I-95 (or you can play from "2 miles"):

Rules clarification question: Texas makes an otherwise-meaningless distinction between Farm Roads and Ranch Roads. Do they count as the same shield type?
