It's only fair, then, that I give us SC 6 with the current shield:

Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

TBKS1

SC 6 -> TN 6

This highway is technically unsigned but it can still be found on mile posts in Nashville.

I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

I have never come close to being able to pull off a nice shot like that in low light...

Most of my late evening shots do not actually come out too well; focusing on far-off subjects works better with a slow shutter speed (the "6" shield is a little blurry). It helps a lot if there's very few clouds.

1/80, f/4.0, ISO 400, 55mm; white balance setting for "cloudy" (here's what it looks like a few minutes and miles later on "incandescent"), color settings for high contrast and high saturation, then removed about 20% of the saturation in post-processing. I've found very recently that evening shots actually come out better with lower contrast and lower saturation levels (from average levels), and then you can go with ISO 800 and a faster shutter speed (if needed), and there's not as much noise.

A shutter speed of 1/40s is very slow.  I very rarely go lower than 1/250 when shooting at night, but then I tend to also crank my ISO much higher than 800.  (And my photos have the noise penalties to show for it).
