My wife has a 2018 Forester with a automatic, she chose it over the CrossTrek.

I had to hunt for a stickshift, i wish i could have gotten a 2015 because sunroof is nice with a stick. 2014's the stick came with the all-weather package standard but no option for sunroof. anything i should be aware of in the long term for these? i pick it up on the 22nd at the dealer.

No issues through 50,000 miles so far.  My wife drives a crazy amount annually in a hilly/snowy area and there hasn't been any mechanical or quality problems.

Nice. It will be a good upgrade from my 2001, subaru did have some good build quality in 2001 but the newer ones feel much better, most of that is due to a quirk in the design i like (frameless windows are neat).

Always glad to see someone pick a Subaru MT over the CVT. Maybe they've improved since last March, when I quite driving valet, but I have yet to drive a Subaru CVT that wasn't painfully loud. The shifter was always noisy too, as the entire center console seemed to be made of complimentary plastics that were all very noisy, especially the shift lever when moving it from P. I suppose if I drove it everyday, I could get used to the noise, or pretend it doesn't exist. But the noise is quite apparent if you're not used to it.

Only thing I don't like about Carmax is their financing...I would certainly bring my own. Or, if mine was really good (which it is), I would just march down to a new car dealership and secure something with 0-2%. Then you get a killer warranty! Especially on a VW or Hyundai/Kia.

That's what I did, both times I bought from them.

Olive Garden must be stopped.  I must stop them.

Don't @ me. Seriously.

Nice! I'm casually looking for a car. It'll likely be in 12-24 months before I buy.

I just hope I get one whether if it's some Accord or Camry. I will post pics once I get it and maybe take a video of me driving it.
