Tom and I have recorded the first regular episode of our podcast. Comments are welcome. You can find the episode at either https://caroutebyroute.org/2022/07/18/episode-1-01-before-1920-building-a-state-highway-system/ or https://anchor.fm/caroutebyroute/episodes/CA-RxR-1-01-Before-1920--Building-a-State-Highway-System-e1ldbnb , and it should be available whereever you find your podcasts.

We're looking for interview guests for future episodes. I'm hoping to get Joel Windmiller for the next episode to talk about the early days of the US Highways. But we're still looking for guests to talk about topics like:

The Auto Club and its involvement in signing highways
The origins of the Eisenhower Interstate System and the Federal Aid Highways act of 1956

I'll have more potential interview topics as time goes on. Take a look at our Episode Guide at https://caroutebyroute.org/episode-guide/ , and if you think you might know a good speaker related to an episode, please pass on the name (either daniel -at caroutebyroute dot org, or tom -at caroutebyroute dot org).

Enjoy.
