is anyone else having trouble with Gmail?

the last few days, it's basically ground to a halt for me.  Messages taking three tries to send, or just locking up for two or three minutes at a time when attempting to fetch an incoming message.

and also, less detectable failures, like me emailing a friend (also has gmail) and him reporting via SMS that my email is not received yet!  I have no idea if that is on my end or his end.  I'd hate to have messages being *dropped completely* because that would be a nightmare for me to keep an eye on and work around.

addendum: I've got at least one PayPal notification that is delayed by possibly as much as 4 hours now.  At least 2 hours for sure.

and who the Hell knows just what messages I haven't been receiving that I don't even know that I am to anticipate.  It's a Donald Rumsfeld problem.

I use MS Outlook 2010 for everything (primarily my University email, but I use gmail on it as well).  I did have issues logging in for the past few weeks on Firefox 3.6.10, but it worked fine on Firefox 4b6 or Minefield 4a8, but clearing my cache seemed to do the trick.  

Do you have any Google labs addons enabled?

It's working fine for me, both on the Gmail client and Mozilla Thunderbird (which both my Gmail and my University email route through, because I'm too lazy to physically log on to the Web client)

I just sent a message from my University email to my Gmail and got it in about five seconds, and sent one from Gmail to the University address and got it in about a minute...

I did clear the cache.  I'm running Firefox 3.6.4 here.  No labs addons.

also, the fact that I am receiving mobile phone email notifications at the same time that the emails arrive in my computer inbox (read: both hideously delayed) implies to me that it is not my browser that is the issue.

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary lately, everything seems to be getting to me in a timely manner.

No problems via their IMAP or ActiveSync interfaces here.

I'm running Firefox 3.6.4 here.

Might want to update that.  They are now up to 3.6.10.

Anyways, I've been having no problems here with either of my gmail accounts.  And I even have some Lab features online.

Gmail hasn't given me issues all day. Might be your browser or your internet connection.

Gmail is giving me photo attachment issues. Everytime I try to attach a photo, the email stops working and sends me to a 404 error message page.
