This may seem like a silly question, but here goes: will my account be automatically deactivated if I go for a long enough time without any activity (posting or viewing posts) on the forum? I’m asking this because I plan on giving up the forum for Lent (that is to say, from February 22 through April 8, the day before Easter). Following that period, I’ll be right back on the forum as usual come Easter, April 9, and I just want to make sure that a self-imposed six-and-a-half-week hiatus won’t cause any issues with my account going forward. Thanks!

Pretty sure I've gone multiple years without posting.

People have gone years between posting without any issues.

There are members on the member list with 0 posts who joined in 2009, the first year of the forum.

Technically Lent doesn't include Sundays. They are part of the Lent period, but not part of the fasting/abstinence aspects of Lent. So you could get on once a week.

No, if you look at the members list, there are people who have joined in 2012-2013 and have 0 posts or 2 posts and they are still on the members list. I don't think it's even possible to delete an account on this site, you can only delete individual posts.

Nope.  This is not one of those gig-economy sweatshops where you get deactivated if you go into the red on any one of several opaque metrics.  Once your account is activated here, you are good to go.

It is interesting, however, that this thread comes only one day after the first compromised account since I've been here (2013).

As others have stated, your account will be fine.

Interesting choice to give up AARoads for Lent. As also previously mentioned, Sundays are your "freebie" days to break from your Lenten abstinence if you so choose.
