I-287 is literally a stone's throw from my building.  I-80 is not much farther.
US 46 is right there by I-80.
I live on CR 511, which is numbered like a state route (all the 500's keep their numbers across county lines and do not repeat in the state).  Otherwise closest SR is 10 or 53, both about 2-3 miles away.

For my current residence in Reno:

Interstate: I-80
U.S. Route: US 395
State Route: SR 651 (which may be changing to SR 659)
Bannered Route: Tie between BUS US 395 and BUS I-80 (neither of which are consistently signed)

For the house I grew up in in Vegas:

Interstate: I-15
U.S. Route: US 95
State Route: SR 578
Bannered Route: BUS US 95 (also not consistently signed)

Fitchburg, WI
I-39 and I-90
US-12/14/18/151
WI-69 or WI-113, not sure which one

For a city with three interstates and five US routes, Madison sure does not have a lot of state highways.

County Road: I can see CSAH 81 from my front window. It's one block away.
State Route: CSAH 81 is the former route of STH 81. The former route of STH 278 is about half a mile away. The current winner is STH 100, about 0.6 miles.
US Route: I live ON the former route of US 52 (and, I think, US 10 in the deep dark past). I live about 2.3 miles from the current route of US 52 on its hidden multiplex with I-94. I'm also about 3.2 miles from US 169.
Interstate: 94. I'm also within 4 miles of both I-394 and I-694.

ME-25 is right outside my window, passing thru a 6-way intersection that also features historic ME-25 (the last leg of Brighton) and historic US-302 (all of Deering). Modern US-302 (AKA ME-100 :P) is two blocks in the other direction. I-295 is a bit closer than 302, if I count just passing over it without any access.
"Officer, I'm always careful to drive the speed limit no matter where I am and that's what I was doin'." Said "No, you weren't," she said, "Yes, I was." He said, "Madam, I just clocked you at 22 MPH," and she said "That's the speed limit," he said "No ma'am, that's the route numbah!"  - Gary Crocker

I live a block off of I-80 Business/US-30 in Laramie, and am less than a mile from I-80, US-287, WYO 130, and WYO 230

so

I-80 (1 mile away)
US-30 (1 block away)
WYO 130/WYO 230 (1 mile or so away)

in Idaho it goes
ID-55 (5 miles away)
US-95 (13 miles away)
I-184 (104 miles away) (I-84's nearest point to my house is 105 miles away)

I'd rather be a child of the road than a son of a ditch.

At what age do you tell a highway that it's been adopted?
