There is a rail subway (California slang for underpass) on Van Ness Avenue north of downtown Fresno which passes under the BNSF line.  For the life of me I cannot find a date of construction for this structure.  It resembles the Wishon Avenue subway which was built in 1914 for streetcars.  To my knowledge the Van Ness structure has always been used exclusively for road traffic.

I was hoping someone had an alternative source for bridge listings which might provide some insight.  This structure isn't on any archived version of Bridgehunter.  The streetlights look old but those aren't my forte.
