Just today I was wondering if Canada and other countries use red, white and blue barber poles.  Ask a silly question...

There is a Red Bull ad with that situation where the middle barber changes his business name to "Entrance".

I would recommend reading the Wikipedia article on the Barber's pole, there's a lot more history than I expected! It seems the red/white/blue variant is most common in the US, while the red/white variant is more common elsewhere.
