48 and partly cloudy.

It's 37 here, so I checked. It seems to be 37 where you are, too.

By the way, you don't need to report typical conditions, only unusual ones.
Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Well, I agree, but he seems to post to this thread daily regardless (at least he has every day since he reappeared).
If it wouldn't be so much work, I would construct a quote string of all his updates, showing every date since Dec. 19th, to prove it!  :-P

Yeah, at least on my weather app, I can see the current temp on my phone's home screen.
I actually have to open the app to see the daily high.

Speaking of which, it is 48 and sunny!!!
For Upstate NY in January, I'm not complaining!

After nine straight days of rain, it's finally over. Sunny and 54 degrees, and forecast to stay dry for at least the next week.

Hurricane Rex

I'm probably going to go back to my MWF posting schedule here now that this thread is active again, condituons permitting (looking at you summer). If I think its too much, or there are 3 complaints, I'll drop it to MTh.

That being said, this one may replace Monday's: looks like we have a 60/40 shot at another decent shot of wind tonight, probably with a half an inch of rain. This system could still become to elongated to do anything but rain though. No freezing days in sight

Here too in Portland. I feel you. Problem is Boston metro normally gets snow unlike Portland. You also handle it better.

I don't think it's really that active. RGT just keeps posting over and over (never mind the numerous posts about his posts, such as this one), giving the appearance of activity.

There's no post limit obviously, but I don't think the weather changes anywhere in the US often enough to warrant three posts per week. But it's your call, and I'm not an admin.

Now I'm hoping the Boston area gets buried in at least a foot plus yet this season.

It does change on a day to day basis...warmer, colder, rain, sun, snow, clouds. But that's true in many areas.

You don't say...my point is, this isn't the weather channel. We're not here filing reports. A quick update once a week is cool, but don't go overboard. Eventually people aren't going to read your posts. Just stick to the bigger stuff: record highs, lots of rain, flooding, heavy snow, etc. Light rain and 46 = zzzzz

39 and cloudy now, but no rain so that's good.

It would probably be more productive for Roadgeekteen to become a weather watcher for a local TV station.  At least then people would use the reports for something.

But I don't want to annoy anyone, so I'll go back to a irregular schedule with weekly updates if its unusually boring.

That was a crazy night! Still people up here without power. The return from winter break was delayed in several Seattle-area districts due to power outages.

And then a totally out-of-the-blue severe thunderstorm in the middle of the night, followed by some snow this morning. We've had it all this weekend.
