Does anyone have specs regarding old Virginia-style US Highway shields?

They look very similar to a typical 1961-spec shield, but there's definitely a slightly different shape to them. I have tried looking for old Virginia MUTCD but have had no such luck, so I'm wondering if anyone here might have some kind of specs related to this? I've noticed that old Ohio US Highway shields looked very similar to this, too.

This is all I've found, courtesy of the Shield Gallery:

But I'm wondering if any other specs might exist.

old cutout Ohio US shields are the standard 16 1/2 x 16 shape ...

Do you have anything else relating to these old Virginia shields, though? Specifically anything that might detail the angles of the curves.

I do not.  that one page with the 1960s MUTCD scans is all I have.

Yeah, that's all I can find, too. It's helpful for giving the general size and dimensions, but ideally I'd also want something that showed distance being curves, angles, etc. I can't find any archives of old Virginia MUTCD, either.
