Monterey County was hit hard by the Bomb Cyclone today.  I ended up getting stuck out here due to all the main state highways connecting to the Central Valley being flooded.  The rains are letting up finally I'll likely be able to get home by morning once everything subsides a little.  I've never seen CA 156 flood before, that was certainly unique.

7/8

Currently -2C/29F, overcast, and lightly snowing. The last few days were sunny which was nice.

Winter has really come back and the snowbanks are pretty tall here. March has so far been more "wintery" than most of February.

Seems like a mild February pretty much guarantees of a lot of snow in March and/or April. I knew it would come eventually.  :sombrero:

34 and snowing. I think this is the first and possibly only time I've seen actual snow this winter.

Still partially light out at almost 8PM as fresh snow comes down. A bit disconcerting to say the least.

3C/37F with clear blue skies. Not quite "gorgeous" but not bad either. :)

I'd say it's pretty close to gorgeous by March standards!

One more day of pleasant temperatures before winter returns with a vengeance this weekend and is expected to last for several days; temperatures are expected to nose-dive to frigid levels, below normal even by January standards.

Another "3" day in DFW today...
