Back down to 70 degrees thanks to a strong onshore flow from the Pacific. Sadly will be short lived as we'll be back up to near 90 on Tuesday.

Summer wanted to end a couple of weeks ago, but changed its mind.

Coolish and comfortable, in the mid60s right now, but will rise to the mid-70s later today

I now live in Tulsa, and the weather here has been a welcome change from miserable Houston heat. Highs are around 90, but the real kicker for me is the low humidity, which you don't really get in Houston.

I bet you'll find your first Tulsa winter interesting.

Most likely.  :-D :-D :-D

I'm probably not going to drive at all in the event of wintry precipitation.

Warm and a bit muggy.  Waiting for some rain to arrive that may not actually be coming.

I'm in New York. 72° but with 81% humidity. I guess that's better than the 90% humidity at this time yesterday. I need to wear a suit for work today. Yesterday I did not, but I did wear a regular dress shirt and I arrived a sweaty mess. Because I was there before anyone else, I hung up my dress shirt in the closet for 40 minutes to dry it out. Today I'm going to wear a T-shirt and slacks (I didn't bring shorts) and change into business attire when I get there. It's like an oven in the subway stations, too.

At 93 in Missoula right now, the summer sizzle isn't over yet. It's clinging on for about a few more days before a drop into the 70's by September 9th. But, timeanddate.com threw a curveball in their 2-week outlook showing September 7th's projected high of 105. I'll just let that sink in for a minute and let you come to your own conclusion as to what that will do.

It's hot and humid. The dew point hasn't fallen below 70 degrees for something like three months. I hate it.

Happy first day of meteorological autumn.

I don't think the west got the memo. All sorts of September monthly record highs are about to fall out there from the looks of things.

7/8

Today is sunny and will reach a hot 28C/83F. The Labour Day weekend forecast is a mixed-bag. Saturday is again hot (high of 30C/86F) with a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Sunday is cooler with a high of 20C/68F and overcast with light rain. Monday seems to be slightly warmer (23C/73F), but one source says light rain and overcast while the other says sunny (I'll hope for the latter).

Ted$8roadFan

Nice and sunny, in the 70s. It was cool enough early this morning that the heat came on.

Cloudy and a bit humid...still waiting for the rain that is deluging other parts of the region.

Hanging out at the Puyallup Fair, south of Seattle. Beautiful day, mid 70s and sunny. Totally perfect weather for a fair.

Very mild temperatures due to the overcast skies and lots of rain from the tropical moisture from the Gulf.

Normally for Labor Day, our highs are in the mid 90s to near 100 degrees.  But with the cloudy/rainy conditions, actual highs only peaked in the upper 80s to mid 90s which puts us several degrees below average.  The good news is that the dew points are still consistent in the mid 70s to around 80 degrees, so the heat index remains in the 105 to 110 range.

I'm trying to enjoy summer weather while I can; I'm still not ready for winter yet.
