According to the forecast, today might be the last of the upper-90s weather.  Finally.  One can only hope.

Currently 95°F, forecast high of 97°F.

Tomorrow, rain with a high of 63°F.

Saturday's forecast gets into the 90s, but only 93°F.  Whatever.  The rest of the week shows 80s.

^ How in the world does your area go from a high in the 90s today to a high in the 60s tomorrow then back to 90 again this weekend?  Going from warm to cold to warm again is how people get sick.

Here in Corpus Christi....mid-90s high and around 80 low, and fortunately remaining consistently like that for the next week or so.

Other locations in my area:  Slightly above normal out west going towards Laredo, otherwise typical September weather.

Alice:          96 high (+3);  72 low (-1)
Freer:         98 high (+5);  70 low (-1)
Kingsville:   96 high (+4);  73 low (+1)
Laredo:      101 high (+6); 76 low (+3)
Premont:     94 high (+2);  72 low (+1)
Robstown:   96 high (+4);  74 low (+2)

The tropical conditions in the Gulf of Mexico are keeping our dew points in the 70s, which means Heat Index hovering around 100 degrees at peak hours in the afternoon and in the 80s during the overnight hours.

It's called actually having weather.

  Yes, thank you!  I'm amazed at people who are amazed at weather that, you know, changes.

And yep, it's currently 54°F and damp, having rained for the last couple of hours.  The forecast high today is 62°F, and tonight's low 53°F.  Saturday is still forecast to get up to 92°F with sunny skies.

75 and partly cloudy. Today may be one of the last chances of weather in the 70's, before the lows dip into the 40's...

Today is an interesting day where the temperature is staying around 11-12 C (52-54 F) for all of my working hours (8am-5pm). It's mostly cloudy and windy, with gusts around 47 km/h (29 mph). Tonight is dropping down to 2 C (36 F), which will make a for cold start tomorrow morning now that I'm working outside.

Weather changes happen a lot here too -- hour by hour.  You know sunny skies at the 3 PM hour, then a full-fledged severe thunderstorm springs up in the 4 PM hour, then partly cloudy in the 5 PM hour all in the same afternoon, which happens pretty much anywhere between the Rockies and the Appalachians.  What I am amazed at is not as much the temperature swings from one day to the next, but it happening in September, when it's fresh off the summer season.  We see it all the time during the other three seasons.  That infamous saying "If you don't like the weather....." isn't particular for any one state or locality, it applies to half-the country.

76 and sunny.

Well, I just now realized I'm in a Severe Thunderstorm Watch. Apple Weather says 5 minutes until the rain comes. It's also supposed to be 100% chance of storms at 3PM.

Daytime in the low 90s along the Gulf coast and around 100 degrees heading out west towards Laredo.  Nighttime ranging from low 70s to around 80 degrees along the islands.  Another round of thunderstorms expected tomorrow as more tropical moisture continue to pour into the Texas coast from the Gulf of Mexico.  Then our first cold front tomorrow night will cool us down for Wednesday.
