Greetings from the People's Republic of Takoma Park, not far from the Sam Abbott Citizens' Center! After many, many years of lurking in this forum as a guest, I decided to come into the light and give the former Berkeley of the East some representation. I have been participating sporadically in the community for close to 25 years, including many posts on misc.transport.road, and I have been attending road meets a couple times a year. I have been becoming more integrated into the community in the past few years, and I expect to contribute to this community more. I might even participate in discussions instead of just lurking! But now you know I am here and paying attention to goings-on in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast and in our online roads communities.
