This isn't really off-topic, but doesn't seem to fit any board, so I put it here.
The Travel Mapping project and my teresco.org site (including all of the pictures I post in the various threads here) are hosted on servers in the main machine room at Siena College. Siena has scheduled a major power reconfiguration/upgrade for the entire day on Saturday, July 13. Part of this process requires rewiring both the main and the backup power in the machine room where TM's server and the campus network backbone hardware are located. Expect no TM/METAL/teresco.org starting around 11 PM EDT on Friday, July 12. If all goes well, the server will come back up when the power is restored late in the day on July 13. If there are problems, service would not be restored until I get gain access to the machine room, which might not be until Monday, July 15. If there are any status updates to pass along during the outage, they will be posted on the project's GitHub pages informational site: https://travelmapping.github.io/ .
The board hasn't been posted to since 2016, but:

That's because TM has its own forum now. I don't see a reason to move this post into that defunct board.

Correct. That was only a temporary board, and now lives on as an 'archive' section.
Might even move it into the 'Off-Topic' board later if I feel like it, as it's run it's time as a 'main' section on the front page.

It would make sense to me to have it a sub-board under Off-Topic at this point. I appreciate the willingness to keep it here for archival purposes, though.

It's now been moved.
The outage is over and TM services have been restored. Let us know over in the TM forum if you notice any problems.
