As of 4 years ago (heh -- :pan: I know!) there's this simulation showing N Rodney Parham and I-430 becoming a DDI.

I wonder if this will come to fruition. Now, if you remember me posting about ArDOT's SPUI (Cantrelle Rd. - I-430) proposal, the initial simulation was from 2010 or '11.

As of 2017 GSV, it is not a thing. ArDOT has a post on this (from 2014).

*I don't know why Vimeo is the way it is in this post -- please forgive me.
Well, that's just like your opinion man...

I can't find anything on ARDOT's website regarding a DDI. I know they recently completed adding a NB on-ramp to 430 from Cantrell (vs making a left turn), but I've heard little else.  It may still be in the talking stages.  Let us know what they say if you decide to write them ;)

Well, it was July they changed to ARDOT, so maybe the old log in isn't valid?

I know they've PM'd the moderators a couple times

So, when they request a User ID change, such as mine - it voids the active info?

I just sent an email to District 6 to see what they have on it.

The DDI has since been withdrawn as a solution for the I-430/Rodney Parham Road interchange.

I just replied to this email before posting this, so we will see what he says.

You'd have to ask the Admins

I have received further communication from ArDOT in regards to this topic.

Trenton,

This interchange will be modified in Job BB0618 and is currently scheduled for the June 13, 2018 letting.  Please see the attached is a summary of the improvements in Job BB0618.

An AADT map is attached as requested.

As the project progressed in design and analysis, ARDOT staff noted that the diverging diamond interchange design (DDI) severely limits the east/west capacity of the Rodney Parham Road arterial as well as ramp capacities for vehicles entering and exiting the interstate.  Because of these limitations the scope of the project has been modified to the attached summary of improvements.

Thank you for your interest in Arkansas Highways,

The following are the attachments I recieved:
