I'm a bit confused over US 371.  Signage for it is hit and miss along Southbound US 71/59 from DeQueen to Lockesburg, but along Northbound 71/59, 371 seems to totally disappear.

I know a few years ago, it was fully signed along 71/59 in both directons and even had an END sign as you approached the 71/59/70/70B/AR 41 intersection.

Does it still begin at DeQueen or has it been shortened to Lockesburg?

Someone with some signage "know-how" needs to be in AHTD.

And AHTD posted an "END" on a route?  That is surprising!

Used to be one in Oak Grove, though I've not gone by to check on it in the last few years

Arkansas tends to post end signs at locations where the route that ends is part of the through route, in other words if you go straight you will be on another highway.  AR 60's western end at AR 28 is another example.

Love these old pictures...

But... I have to say that I'm glad that AHTD went to Clearview.  All caps signage is harder to read.

I know this is a dinosaur.

I had thought that US-371 had ended at US-71 in Lockesburg.

It appears though it is poorly marked that it does go on to the confluence of US-71, US-70, & AR41. It is fully signed on 41.

Let's build what we need as economically as possible.

How does one consider the existing US 371 as compared to the second US 371 in Minnesota?: https://www.usends.com/371-ii.html. I just learned there was another US 371 for about 6 months in 1929 and 1930: https://www.usends.com/371-i.html. I would say existing US 371 is more practical since it goes through more than one state, while US 371 Mark II never left Minnesota (and had to be co-designated with US 2 to reach US 71).
