Longest / Oldest US highway that has NEVER been re-routed

glancing at the map, it looks like Shelburne (easternmost town) has a road through the city that could very well have been US-2 in the early days.

also, what about US-2 in New York?  when was that bridge built?

I saw some terrain evidence of what may be minor curve straightening elsewhere as well. 

also, what of the 70/259 expressway south of Broken Bow?  is that an in-place dualing?

That road could have been old OK 21, but it was never US 259, which was not commissioned until 1963.  The 259 designation was added after the new road was built.  What is now 259 from just north of the Red River to Smithville was built as OK 21, and from Smithville to Page was OK 103.

The dualing was done using the existing alignment.  It's a "Missouri Expressway" where the lanes are at different heights in places.
