I recently explored Duke University's online library and came across some great photographs of old signals from New York City. Most were from Queens, while others were from Brooklyn and Manhattan. They are from the 1960s decade.

Marbelite traffic signal and dark olive green bulky Winko-Matic pedestrian signal. Uptown Manhattan.

Rego Park, Queens Ruleta head. Mid 1960s. I really like this one.

100th Av. Queens.

Queens. Hillside Av.

Marbelite LPS-20 pedestrian signals in Brooklyn. At the corner of Avenue H. Near Flatbush Av. Ext.

Another pair on a 1950s clarinet-shaped pole. Manhattan.

Four-way Marbelite cluster (two-section) with short visors in use. Queens.

1950s dark olive green three-way Marbelite cluster. Queens.

1960s Marbelite TE-19408 cluster on pole. Brooklyn.

At Broadway and 29th St. in Queens, New York. The Ruleta traffic signal was in its final days, and the new Marbelite signals were not yet functional. 1966.
