Bridge damaged by a trash truck.

MD 355 (URBANA PIKE) BRIDGE OVER THE MONOCACY RIVER IS CLOSED AFTER BEING STRUCK

Check out the photo.  That one got serious damage.

In fairness, it was a garbage truck that was being towed.

Surprised it remained standing.

That is significant main structure damage.

Truss bridges not known for redundant load paths, either . . .

Anyone know what the posted clearance was on that bridge?  From the pix, it looks like about 13.5-14 feet (eyeball guesstimate!)
