Cool site. That first drawing is just a "Michigan Left," isn't it?

Be well,

Check out my YouTube page (http://youtube.com/Bryant5493). I have numerous road videos of Metro Atlanta and other areas in the Southeast.

I just signed up on photobucket -- here's my page (http://s594.photobucket.com/albums/tt24/Bryant5493).

Nope. The "Michigan Left" on that site is the "Median U-turn crossover".

The "Contraflow Left Interchange" is a concept I've never seen before. It has the benefit of allowing cross street left turns to proceed simultaneously, but not much else. It'd probably be better to just implement diamond phasing at the signals of a typical diamond.

The "Echelon" is another interesting concept I've never seen before either. That one would be interesting to implement, but (like the "Center Turn Overpass") would be a difficult right of way challenge in an urban area.
