CA 94

California State Route 94 is a 63-mile State Highway located in San Diego County.  California State Route 94 begins in downtown San Diego at Interstate 5.  California State Route 94 between Interstate 5 and California State Route 125 is carried by the Martin Luther King Jr. Freeway.  California State Route 94 east of California State Route 125 to Via Mercado is carried by the informally named Campo Freeway.  The remainder of California State Route 94 east to Interstate 8 is carried by Campo Road.  Campo Road historically was part of the stage route to Yuma and once carried the Auto Trail known as the Old Spanish Trail.  Pictured as the blog cover photo is a flooded portion of California State Route 94 in the mountains east of San Diego in 1939.

Is the CA 15/CA 94 interchange ever going to be reconstructed to Interstate Standards? CA 15 should have become part of Interstate 15 long ago.

It might be once they somehow find the money to do so.
(Edit) Even if and when that does happen, given where they are on resigning CA-210, I wouldn't hold my breath on that happening if I were you.

Funny you mention that.  I'm down to the last couple California state highways on Gribblenation.  I hadn't intended to power through what was left so early but the chaos with Wikipedia played a factor why I bumped it up as a priority.  A lot of what I had left was state highways in the areas you wrote about and cited sources on Wikipedia. I was concerned about the information being lost, good to hear it has made it to the AAroads Wiki.

Which reminds me -- time for my periodic disclaimer. My site (California Highways, www.cahighways.org) has no intention of going anywhere, at least not while I'm still around (and even after, if I can find a successor). I never contributed to the Wikipedia Roads Wiki, and I currently don't intent to contribute to the AARoads Wiki. Not that I have anything against it, but I still like there era where we had multiple sites for state, each with their own particular emphasis. I plan to maintain my list of road-related sites (available on my links page).
