When I was younger and worked at the now defunct Steak & Ale Restaurant we employees used to call it "Ache and Stale" to be humorous.
Then one user on here who does not like Golden Corral calls it "Olden Corral."
The list continues as some Disney employees like to call its Florida Theme Park known as The Magic Kingdom as the "Tragic Kingdom." Plus, I like to call the Aramark Uniform Company as "Arafuck Uniform Company" as I hated that company as they treated both their customers and workers like shit. Aramark was the worst employer I ever had and would never get a uniform through them if they survived Armageddon.
Then my best friend in High School used to call McDonalds"McMac" as it was his favorite (and still is his favorite)eatery as well as another friend called it "McBlues" as he does not really care for the fast food nonesense.

McDonald's has a bunch of names. Some kid in grade school called it McDoodle's. I sometimes call it Ron McDon, because one time in gym class in grade school, there was some kid named Ron who annoyed some other kid, causing him to say, "Stop it, Ron McDon!"
In my youth, I used to have a lot of parodies for commercial slogans that I came up with after hearing them for the first time. Here's some of them...
Campbell's: "Soup is good food" became "Poop is good food."
U.S. Army: "Be all that you can be" became "Pee all that you can pee."
NAPA: "All the right parts in all the right places" became "All the right farts in all the right faces."
Holiday Inn: "#1 in people pleasin'" became "#1 in people peein'."
Kroger: "Cut your cost at Kroger" became "Cut a fart at Kroger."
Bubble Yum: "Keeps it poppin'" became "Keeps it poopin'".
There was also a commersh for Pizza Quick Sauce where they sang, "Open a jar of Pizza Quick Sauce and open your own pizzeria." I always used to sing, "Open your own diarrhea."
There's a lot of gum commercials that I parodied. I remember the Care-Free gum commersh where the song that went "means no sugar when you chew" became "means no boogers when you poo."
Around the time I was in college, there was the Wrigley's commersh that had giant black letters on the screen on a white background, like the old "Frankie Say Relax" shirts. Then they said "Pure chewing satisfaction", and I always said "Pure pooing satisfaction."
All of these parodies were hilarious just because of their sheer immaturity. They were kind of predictable, but still funny. Sort of like how when you see a pie in a sitcom, you know right were it's going to end up, but it's still funny after the millionth time.
Waffle House is frequently called Awful House sometimes referring to the food. They're an entertaining place after the bars close as all the drunks come in to eat & make fools of themselves. There's usually a fight or two, someone pukes & someone tries to leave w/out paying their bill. I was 3rd shift cook for a couple years, it was quite a show.

several places I'm aware of (1 I worked at) if the company logo is in any way circular in appearance, it's referred to as "The Meatball".
Additionally, one place I worked at made components for the bomb racks on some military aircraft. We took to calling the device "Dial-a-bomb". While all of us who worked on it thought it was hysterical, the Air Force had a completely different viewpoint. :confused:
We even made our own logo, it was a big juicy turd headed for a fan.

I have heard the name "New York Slimes" instead of NY Times being that their stuff they publish has gotten to absurd.
In Orlando I refer to Chanel 9 Eyewitness News as "Crimewitness News" because most of their stories involve reporting metro area crimes whether its the local 7 Eleven getting robbed or some domestic dispute. Compared to the other news agencies in Central Florida, who report less crime stories and more other news stories without the really sad news, Bob Opshal and his team always stay on top of the bad more.

About sports teams, I've referred to Athletic de Bilbao and Atlético de Madrid as Pathetic de Bilbao and Patético de Madrid respectively. And since today they are playing each other, I call that match 'The most pathetic [association] football match of Spain'. It's not the first time I make a parody of an association football match, as last month during the Clásico Real Madrid FC became Rosales FC while FC Barcelona became FC Rivas (Which ironically I placed in the Southeast suburbs of Madrid).
The local newspaper, the Clarion-Ledger, is often referred to as the Clarion-Liar. I've even heard conservatives call it the Clarion-Liberal.
I used to like when Rush Limbaugh called CNN the Clinton News Network back when Bill was Commander In Chief.

Some, though I'm drawing some blanks as many shops and sports teams officially adopt the nicknames they get called. I'm going to ignore abbreviations (eg "Maccy D's", "'spoons", "Marks & Sparks", etc) There needs to be some sort of negative vibe from it for them not to.
"Chelski" for Chelsea FC, reflecting their Russian money.
"Primarni" for Primark (which is meant to be pronounced pri-mark, but everyone pronounces prim-ark), the super cheap clothing chain, making it up-market sounding by merging it with Armani
"SleasyJet" for EasyJet, a low cost airline (other, spin-off, brands get the same treatment).
"Worst Group" or "Last Group" for First Group, who run buses, trains, etc with First <name of franchise/area where buses run>. eg Worst Capital Connect, Last Great Western Trains...
The long names of railways gave them lots of nicknames from the initials (never good ones), but those companies are long defunct.
"Kentucky Fried Cat" for KFC
Newspapers:
"The Gaurinaud" for The Guardian. As it was printed in Manchester, the typos of earlier editions were sent to London, whereas other papers were the other way around, and so Londoners only got frequent typos in that paper.
"The Torygraph" for The Telegraph, as it is a vocal supporter of the Conservative Party.
"The Daily Wail" for The Daily Mail, as it constantly scaremongering.
"The Why" for The i[/url], a paper aimed at the Buzzfeed crowd, consisting of a shortened version containing the most clickbaity articles from The Independent: a misnamed paper (I guess it isn't partisan, though gone are the token editorials that disagree with the main editorial stance that it used to have) that is the leftist snobby version of the Wail: alarmist, superior, incredibly biased. Somehow it sells enough to not be so embarrassingly loss making that the parent company has to pull the paper, but not enough to be on people's radar enough that the nickname is ever used (I'm sure I've seen someone else use it and didn't just make it up).

It was for a while. Many locals (as in Warren County) still called it Storyland. We had season passes when I lived 5 minutes away. Went there a couple nights a week during the summer. This was well before they started charging for parking.
Speaking of Steamin Demon, it's so lame that Six Flags is trying to spice it up with a name change and a "virtual reality experience" (https://www.sixflags.com/greatescape/attractions/vr/overview). Yeah...
On the note of theme park name changes:
Nickelodeon Universe (Mall of America) -> Camp Snoopy (before the agreement was not renewed between the mall and Cedar Fair). Another local amusement park, Valleyfair later contracted to have some Peanuts-themed attractions at their park.
Some guy from Philadelphia on another board corrected me for calling it Camp Snoopy after the rebrand. I wanted to reach through the computer and slap him.
When I was 16, there were pretty much only 2 places in the area you could work: Burger King or McDonalds. Back then you only had to say if you worked for "the King" or "the Clown". I worked for the latter -- the real clown was the manager!
My grandmother for the longest time called Burger King "Lottaburger."

If you can get a credit card from a local credit union, you'll get a much better APR.
Trying to bring this back on topic, but I don't think I ever came up with nicknames for my credit union's current or former name, nor the big banks I've dealt with... oh wait, I do have something. When PNC acquired National City Bank, which had a large presence here, the local news mentioned PNC is based in Pittsburgh. So naturally, in my head PNC stands for Pittsburgh National City.

Plus, the boxy roof line allowed for a roomy (for its size) cabin.

When I was in college (late '60's/early '70's) the common referral for a specific fast food chain was "Jack in the Crack". My ex also regularly referred to the same place as "Cock in the Box" (a female has a better chance of getting away with that sort of reference). She also called Arby's fare "the meat not found in nature" -- and had a rather crude but visually appropriate term (you can sort of guess the general nature of such) for their "horsey" white horseradish sauce!

My wife grew up in Branson, and the Herschends are/were family friends of hers. Their daughter was the flower girl at our wedding, for example. So, several times, my wife and I have simply been given free tickets to Silver Dollar City directly from the owners.
Failing that, however, we've always been able to piggyback on someone in town. Locals have long had access to discounted admission at Silver Dollar City, with a local paycheck stub functioning as proof of residency. As for its location, it's isolated (some people would probably want to avoid going near it), and it's walkable and has easy bus access (not everyone in the target demographic drives a car).

To further conplicate things, in France there is a third chain also called Netto. Since it was introduced by Les Mousquetaires while they owned Cat Netto, I refer to this one as "Faux Cat Netto". And I've been to one location of this chain.

- I personally don't like this nickname, but again, lots of people I know call it this.

I might have, but it would be years ago. If I did watch it, I don't remember anything from it.
