Using the "same town, different state" rule, let's take NC 16 from Newton to Taylorsville:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

Then take KY 61 to Elizabethtown, where you can hit all sort of other long-distance routes

From Elizabethtown to Niagara Falls, NY, via US 62.  Taken on I-190.  June 26, 2012.

A likely opportunity to jump to Canada for a bit if anyone wants to try.

I take pictures of road signs, that's about it.

General rule of thumb: Just stay in the "Traffic Control" section of the forum and you'll be fine.

We can take US 61 all the way up the river to Dubuque.

I seem to have stalled the game with my Snohomish play.  So let's make it easy and take US 2 back to the entire state of Wisconsin.  Taken on I-35.  July 18, 2015.

Clinched, minus I-93 (I'm missing a few miles and my file is incorrect)

Traveled, plus US 13, 44, and 50, and several state routes

I will be in Burlington VT for the eclipse.

Virginia 3 can take us from Fredericksburg to Culpeper, with plenty of US highways to choose on your way out.  Taken May 22, 2005.  From US 15 and US 29.

Somebody do us all a favor and...

...play a US 224 to Mogadore, Ohio!

(What, you thought I was going to say something else? Also: U-74 -- I-74?)

UPDATE: I have one!

This one's for you, Tom From Ohio!

Alright, now that I think I understand the rules correctly, I'm going to give this thread a try and attempt to jump in. It's not against the rules to use the same route three times in a row, right?

US-30 again to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

US 30 doesn't go through Mogadore, OH (it runs about 15-20 miles south of there in Canton), so I don't think this works.

Mogadore was played 10 minutes after Philadelphia, despite the post ordering.

Yeah, even when I posted there were no pictures in hbelkins' post (check the time of his last edit and compare it to the time on my post). His attempted play isn't valid.

Jim

I was going to post a Mogadore but it didn't look like US 224 went close enough to Fort Wayne, so I held off.  Let's continue now from Cedar Rapids.
