What's interesting about the 1993 photo is that it appears 32nd Street used to be the main road leading through the draw before it turned into Northern Avenue. I always figured that was the case. Now, 32nd Street has most of its lanes funneled onto the SR-51 on-ramp, with a slip lane still there to access the neighborhoods before it basically peters out into nothing.
