Title: Florida isn’t flat
Post by: Max Rockatansky on October 08, 2021, 12:13:02 PM
It's true, observe Pasco County Route 41 descending the Brooksville Ridge:

Also, I would like to point out the clear lack of a evenly flat elevation distribution that can be seen on Main Park Road of Everglades National Park...totally NOT flat:

Amazing (well not really) that none of you have considered this topic before.  My perception of these terrain variances in Florida is beyond dispute.  Nothing any of you peons can possibly muster as a rebuttal can dissuade me from the one true truth.  Stay tuned for my upcoming thread about the poltergeist laden roadways of Citrus County.

Sure that's not Colorado?  Looks mountainous compared to Illinois.

Just looking at those photos gave me a case of swamp nuts.

While some areas in the panhandle and the top part of the peninsula aren't flat, the rest of the state is and it only has about 360ft of total elevation variance.

False narrative, my logic is supreme and unquestionable.  To demonstrate my unfathomable god-like level of wisdom I will now go out in my Fore Focus to seek normal commuters to accost with my high beams.  Expect glorious videos to follow along with boasts about my 1.15k acolyte subscriber base.

345 ft < 128 m, so it's buildable to scale in Minecraft! (It's already been done with Denmark.)

While the Driftless and southern tip of Illinois aren't flat, the rest of the state is.

More than that. Where I am, gets pretty hilly once I drive at least 15 minutes to the west. Even the freeway stretch of IL120 is pretty hilly. Here's a route outside of the areas you mentioned that is not flat by any imagination and I've now clinched it, will soon release videos of the rest:

What someone who knows nothing about Illinois would think it must look like based on some of these arguments

That's Alabama, not Florida. (https://www.discovermagazine.com/the-sciences/the-shape-of-massachusetts)
