I have an minor update for MD 644 (but don't we enthusiasts love the minor stuff?). Click the routes for map link.

MDRoads had noted that there were two segments of this unsigned road, both of which are now in Baltimore County maintenance:

The two newly discovered ones are:

  • MD 644C: Linden Ave Spur, a short connector link between Linden and US 1. Previously thought to have been in County maintenance but now claimed by the SHA.
  • MD 644D: Selma Ave Spur, another short connector link between Selma and US 1. Previously thought to have been in County maintenance but now claimed by the SHA.

Enjoy.

Also thought C-D were county maintained.  I heard about A and B from the transfer records.  The 644A bridge over the Amtrak line was downloaded to the county not long after being rebuilt by SHA.   Some other numbers in the same range were also assigned to roads/bridges near the Northeast Corridor rail line:

643 was Sulphur Spring Rd in Arbutus, just north of 644
645 was old 176 in Dorsey
647 was Whiskey Bottom Rd near Laurel
