I see from Maine to Florida the east coast is getting a deep freeze with highs in the Sunshine State being only 55.

In Florida the norms are usually in the 70's this time of year
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

This is a clickbait thread title for the ages. I mean seriously, how are we supposed have any idea what East Coast Gets Itâ„¢ is supposed to mean without opening the thread? And of course it turns out to be a total nothingburger that could have easily fit into an existing thread. Color me shocked.

I remember an ad (won't say who to avoid a thread lock) that said "[name] Just Doesn't Get It", which was a near-rhyme. I can confirm the thread title is accurate even in this context.

I'll "whoosh meme" myself on this one. I have no clue what this is supposed to mean or why it's relevant.

I'll explain it further at the risk of locking the thread.

"Karoline Leavitt Just Doesn't Get It" was a 2022 New Hampshire congressional attack ad. She now "got it" today as White House Press Secretary, and of course New Hampshire is on the East Coast.

Here I was thinking title has that "nobody beats The Wiz" kind of feel (especially the Seinfeld version).

I was thinking "Crash_It Doesn't Get It."
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I remember working in downtown Miami back in the mid-1990s, and the high temps were in the mid-40s the week after Thanksgiving.  Other than dress clothes and construction gear, I always took "beach clothes" for casual wear.  Got a lot of weird looks from the locals there when I was wearing shorts and they were all bundled up in dressy fur coats.

Wow. That is some next level connecting the dots, I'll give you that. Just goes to show that there's a wild range of ways to interpret the thread title.

My favorite season is shorts and hoodie season.
