Just so folks outside the Pacific Southwest forum are aware: "Max Rockatansky" and I have started a podcast, which is now in its second season. The focus of the podcast is going route by route through every California state highway. The first season was all background; the second season we've started with route 1, and we're up to Ventura and Santa Barbara county, with SLO/Big Sur on the editing table.

The forever home of the podcast is at https://caroutebyroute.org/ , and the Spotify for Podcasters home is https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/caroutebyroute . It should be available on most podcasting apps. Comments and thoughts are welcome, and yes, the sound quality is better in the second season. Dammit, Jim, I'm a cybersecurity specialist and roadgeek, not a sound editor :-)
