When will this heat STOP?!
« on: September 15, 2021, 04:16:00 PM »

People who don't know cold aren't in my shoes of my neighborhood.
Temperatures have been running 10-15∘F above normal for the past three weeks.
The temps have been compared to last year. :bigass:
When is this darn HEAT gonna STOP for GOOD?! At least till next spring?!  :-D :wow: :colorful:

what does this even mean

Also, wait a couple weeks and you'll probably get your first real cold front of the year.

Wingtips, but the neighborhood changes into gym shoes when they go inside.  They also trade their suit jacket for a zippered cardigan.

Good thing, wingtips are kind of heat resistant.

People,
Harnett County deserves a break from the heat.
Now it seems to be that we may be getting a break FINALLY! from the 90s!  :pan:

What is Harnett Countyís qualifications?  Has it filed the appropriate paperwork and attached it to itís application for colder weather?

HC should be 70s in October, rather than 90+ degree weather in October, like my birthday was BROILING!

But what has Harnett County actually done to earn that 70F weather?  This shouldnít be a empty handout.

Harnett County did zilch to earn 70degrees other than Cold fronts!  :wow:

Iím sorry then it only qualifies for heat in the 90-100F range.

The climate average daily high for the next week where I live is 72į, and temperatures shouldn't be that different where you are. 75 isn't out of the ordinary.

I was just thinking...this has been a weird year for weather.  First, southeast Texas, where I live, had a winter storm and multiple days of freezing temps...and didn't really warm up until late May.  Then, while the PNW was enduring a sweltering heat wave, it only broke 100 here maybe once or twice.  It was hot, sure, but not nearly as bad as the last few years have been. Now, its only mid September and its so nice outside..its 79 right now

My dad used to ask, usually when it was below zero outside and us kids would complain that it's too cold, "what are you going to do when winter gets here?"

He also used to say, "be careful what you wish for ... you might just get it."

North Carolina doesnít have a low temperature problem.

Dude that is literally normal for mid-September in the CT river valley.

Can't wait until you wonder where all the snow is in the winter compared to your normal home.

Welcome to the new norm for September. 3 of the past 4 years we've had upper 80s/low 90s high temperatures going into late September here and that trend will continue this year.
