Google Maps shows a 4 Lane With Shoulders (non divided highway) bridge over Canadian River in Oklahoma. When did they do that, and why? Are they going to finish adding lanes to U.S. 177?

Finished about two years ago. No further plans currently to extend the 4 lane section, but I could see OK 3W be four lanes south of there during the life of the bridge, with the traffic heading to Ada. US 177 south of the bridge is just a country road, no paved shoulder.
