Are IPhones not good for the forum

Well I just posted my first post from my iPhone that ended up in disaster. A response I replied in the Suncoast thread somehow got dumped in the North Carolina thread.  I thought it got lost until later I found it in that thread as it came up once more.u

Anyway I do not know how it did that or why but I deleted it from the NC thread and wrote a second post that did make it. However I would have rather had the first post go where it should have went as that was more of my thoughts than trying to remember the second time what I said the first.

Anyway be aware on iPhones that a screwup can occur.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

I've been posting on the forum from an iPhone for years with no issues. Could be a browser thing.

Olive Garden must be stopped.  I must stop them.

Don't @ me. Seriously.

^ Or Tapatalk....some have mentioned issues with using the Tapatalk app to access the forum.

Personally, I just use a web browser (usually Firefox) on my iPhone.  Aside from having to zoom in in order to both read and see what I type, I haven't had issues.

I haven't had issues on either my iPhone or my iPad other than one time when the iPhone browser showed the "bigass" smiley as the forum background (I'll edit this post to add a link when I find it).

I sometimes use Tapatalk on my phone, but not always. One advantage of using it is that I have an easier time uploading photos when I use that app. I've seldom had any problems using that app. I have it on my iPad, too, but with the larger screen on there I don't usually see much reason not to use the browser. I had originally downloaded Tapatalk for another forum that is more of a nuisance to read via the mobile browser.

I never saw that thread.  But, oh man, did I just get a good belly laugh out of the image below!

That's probably what it is. While not as convenient as posting on a computer, I have rarely had too serious of problems while posting on my phone, as long as I am using the regular Safari app and not Tapatalk for regular posts. And actually, a very large percentage of my posts are created on my iPhone. I do use Tapatalk specifically for adding pictures to my posts, but I never use it for creating regular posts with no pictures.

This reminds me of the absolutely hilarious time when there were similar glitches happening on my phone, and here is the thread for that:

These issues happened for a very short time on my phone, but I will never forget the laughs that they gave me (and still do).  :-D

I'm not addicted to the forum to the point where I can't wait to use a computer with a real browser to read and post. I have used an iDevice in the past if there was something I needed to check (and always got a Tapatalk nag, which puzzled me) but generally, I'm fine with waiting until I have access to my laptop.
