I like the DDI for I-40/US 15-501 interchange, but why do the new road have to be added? It sounds very unnecessary, but of course this is NCDOT. smh.

Two from the Longview area:

Long Beach to Kelso, 80.8 miles: US-101 > WA-4 > Catlin St > Main St > Allen St (although WA-4 is over 60 miles of it)

Castle Rock through Longview to Winlock, 47.6 miles: Delameter Rd > Woodside Dr > Coal Creek Rd > WA-432 (Willow Grove Connection Rd, Induatrial Way, 3rd Ave) > WA-411 (3rd Ave, 1st Ave, Westside Hwy, where it passes the starting point) > Westside Hwy > Military Rd

There was also a few years where you could start and end on the same roundabout in Astoria, OR without any turns (using US-101 Bus and merging onto the mainline) but the construction of Ensign Ln added a right turn to it.

Still very hazy skies here in Pennsylvania, but can at least see a tinge of blue.

(For DE 24)  CM/GC, North Millsboro Bypass, US 113 to SR24 has been awarded

I wonder if this bypass will be an unnumbered road or will be assigned a route number.

I’m old enough to remember when ER did a live ep.

The cool thing about the live 30 Rock eps is that they deliberately added small differences between the broadcasts.

Starting a road trip on Monday, going to June Lake first so I'm hoping they will open Sonora Pass by then! Never been up that way nor Ebbetts pass so at least I have an alternative now.

It was wonderful to be back in western New York for a good part of last weekend. The tour route for the day was finalized and I'm now at work writing up the final itinerary for the day. Be prepared for there to be two different documents worth possessing on the day of the meet - one will be a standard itinerary with directions and other information while the other will be a supplemental guide that will deal more with Buffalo's industrial heritage and associated landmarks we'll be passing by on the driving tour. We did something similar in concept to this on the 2nd day of the Philadelphia National Meet one year ago and it worked really well, so I think we should apply something similar for this day as well.

I continue to take RSVPs for each of the main events of the day, either the meet tour itself, or the after-party ballgame. I think we'll have a nice crowd and hopefully the weather will be just as nice. (But let's not worry too much about things that are out of our control  :-|)
