List some of the most dangerous intersections in your local city, county, state or country that you've driven through.

1) This intersection is the intersection of two high-speed roadways: the ramp from the I-85 North access road and the ramp from Airport Boulevard, which is the access road for the Atlanta Airport. Both converge as they merge onto S.R. 6 West/Camp Creek Parkway. This is located in College Park, Clayton County, Georgia, just outside of Hartsfield-Jackson.

2) The next intersection is located in the City of Atlanta and is of Bolton Road NW, Marietta Blvd. NW, Plant Rd. NW, and Adams Dr. NW. It's currently being fixed, but look at this photo, to get a look at how bad it is. PHOTO

Check out my YouTube page (http://youtube.com/Bryant5493). I have numerous road videos of Metro Atlanta and other areas in the Southeast.

I just signed up on photobucket -- here's my page (http://s594.photobucket.com/albums/tt24/Bryant5493).

One that comes to mind is Turnpike Road and NY 34.  A would-be aunt of mine died there about 40 years ago.  The intersection was originally at an angle, but was realigned in 2001.

Your photo reminded me of the intersection at the eastern split of the NY 5/92 multiplex in Fayetteville.

One intersection that comes into mind is W Davison Avenue at Linwood. It's the 5th worst intersection in the state, and has been a part of many police chase crashes.

* I-270 at IL 203 for two main reasons (this one strays from dangerous intersection to a just dangerous interchange
1) The intersection seems overdue for signalization; the ramps seem to queue up regularly
2) This unacceptably awful merge onto the EB C-D lane for traffic from IL 203:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.758384,-90.092729&spn=0,359.986267&z=17&layer=c&cbll=38.758202,-90.091417&panoid=_RfSqVykGdfLeJgiXO4KXA&cbp=12,76.64,,0,0.01

* IL 3 at Broadway/East Entrance to the McKinley Bridge.  A tad confusing, plus a very poorly handled lane setup northbound; the roadway coming from the McKinley Bridge goes to three lanes, yet one immediately drops after the intersection:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.671866,-90.175746&spn=0,359.996567&t=k&z=19&layer=c&cbll=38.672026,-90.17569&panoid=D9gkINuqQNsfif9ow_Z6fQ&cbp=12,16.89,,0,13.72

This drop is not signed right, nor should one have to change lanes just to continue north on IL 3 here; the third lane appears on the left:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.668499,-90.174944&spn=0,359.996567&t=k&z=19&layer=c&cbll=38.668413,-90.174993&panoid=tAyzIzI6bSYwKFF2yv9mbA&cbp=12,32.33,,0,5

* The Half CFI intersection at the Big Bend/Geyer intersection in Kirkwood, MO.  The left turn to access SB Geyer from WB Big Bend can be hard to judge with some drivers slowing for the railroad tracks:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.566908,-90.415061&spn=0,359.993134&z=18&layer=c&cbll=38.566893,-90.414881&panoid=ueMrCgJFb-FEMnmyzcYm7g&cbp=12,282.55,,0,1.91

Really should be protected-permissive for the WB-SB movement; IIRC, through EB traffic gets a green at the same time as the EB-NB left turn arrow is up.

* The Skinker/Oakland/McCausland/Clayton/US 40 ramps disaster in western St. Louis city:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.632913,-90.303841&spn=0.002824,0.006866&t=k&z=18
Congested, hard to judge some turns, and uses poorly designed traffic signals, such as this improperly designed signal for SB Skinker to EB US 40:
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=38.633253,-90.304393&spn=0,359.993134&t=k&z=18&layer=c&cbll=38.633339,-90.304371&panoid=dWp2WzKRlx079GDFf3hf7w&cbp=12,183.67,,0,-1.75
When this intersection reverted back to protected only lefts onto EB 40, that signal should have been replaced.  One of the biggest failures of the US 40 rebuild was not even trying to simplify this disaster (didn't used to be beyond the scope of the rebuild; an earlier plan eliminated the Clayton overpass and brought Clayton into Oakland on the east/south side of US 40.

There are a few bad intersections in my area.

First, there are the four traffic signal intersections at the I-476/US 1 stacked diamond interchange in Springfield, PA:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=39.937086,-75.363121&spn=0.007996,0.019205&t=h&z=16

Then, there is the north/east end of the US 202 freeway between West Chester and King of Prussia at Gulph Road:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=40.084885,-75.388731&spn=0.003989,0.009602&t=h&z=17

PA 100 between US 30 to the PA Turnpike is full of bad intersections, specifically this one at US 30 itself.
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=40.020138,-75.62336&spn=0.008052,0.019205&t=h&z=16

US 1/Roosevelt Blvd in Philadelphia is a nightmare for bad intersections, specifically where the freeway section ends at 9th St.
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=40.021091,-75.14009&spn=0.004026,0.009602&t=h&z=17

There is always US 30/I-676 through Franklin Square in Philadelphia:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=39.956226,-75.149424&spn=0.00403,0.009602&t=h&z=17

DE 92 at US 202 in Brandywine, DE is also a problem:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=39.828627,-75.5427&spn=0.008075,0.019205&t=h&z=16

And finally, US 1 at US 202/US 322 near Concordville, PA:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=39.881083,-75.545779&spn=0.004034,0.009602&t=h&z=17

There are also a few intersections not in my area worth mentioning...

The south end of the Adirondack Northway at US 20 in Albany, NY:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=42.683224,-73.843671&spn=0.003667,0.009602&t=h&z=17

US 9 at NY 254 in Glens Falls, NY:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=43.330173,-73.672342&spn=0.007258,0.019205&t=h&z=16

US 20 at NY 155 near Guilderland, NY:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=42.69764,-73.887509&spn=0.003667,0.009602&t=h&z=17

There are also many intersections along US 301 between the Bay Bridge in Maryland to the MD/DE state line that are hazardous.

NH 16 at NH 153/NH 125 in Union, NH which is also the north end of the Spaulding Turnpike:
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=en&ll=43.498604,-71.026568&spn=0.003619,0.009602&t=h&z=17

7th St and Bell and 19th Avenue and Northern are the two most dangerous intersections in Phoenix, and are on the Top 10 most dangerous in the United States. I've heard about quite a few on both. 32nd St and Greenway is also kind of risky too, but it's not listed.

NY345 and CR35 between Potsdam and Madrid, NY.  The four-way intersection is located on top of a large hill, with 345 going downhill on both sides of CR35.  Very difficult for cars coming from CR35 to see on both sides of 345.

Accidents galore at that intersection...people have been calling for something to happen there, whether it be a caution light (since there is none right now), or total reconstruction.
This is cu2010, reminding you, help control the ugly sign population, don't have your shields spayed or neutered.

Looks like the one outside my house is getting into that category.  I just saw the third crash there since the first of the year.

Main road is posted at 25 mph, but too many people consider that voluntary.

Young driver coming out from side street got creamed by a car likely at high speed.  Everyone is OK, but the vehicles are not . . .

The worst intersection for me would be in Benton Harbor, MI : M-139 and Empire Rd. People would drive 60 in the 45 posted and all of a sudden the traffic light turns a very quick yellow. If you don't drive past the yellow you're likely to get rear-ended.

Gotta love that.  I once came to a reasonable stop at a yellow in New Hampshire, slowing down gradually enough to give ample warning - then out of nowhere, the person behind me (who was doing maybe 40 over the limit) locks up the brakes in an awful noise and deluge of smoke, nearly spins out going into the opposite lane to get around me, and comes to a skidding halt halfway through the intersection.

And, of course, has the gall to flip me off, before taking off, through a blatant red, just as abruptly as he arrived.

Live free or die, comrade.

Wow! That's funny because it's so damn psychotic on their part.

I have noticed several intersections in my area that are dangerous due to poor geometry and/or sight distance.

At this intersection between US 11/15 and 21st Street, if you're turning right on red from SB 21st Street on to 11/15, you're faced with a blind curve with cars coming from Harrisburg going usually 50 mph. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.2494794,-76.9228475,3a,75y,93.54h,83.21t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sYg4c0gvHR1AniRpzg_yaEA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656

At the intersection of Carlisle Road and S 18th Street, it's dangerous to turn left onto Carlisle Road on either side due to the turn lanes being misaligned, creating a blind spot unless you swing your car over, which most people don't think to do. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.2312309,-76.9077323,3a,75y,169.8h,79.66t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sOSm-UPFTnEX0V6QPtq9e8Q!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

This one in Dillsburg is dangerous, not only due to the poor geometry of N Baltimore Street curving sharply to meet Old Mill Road, but also due to the traffic light being too close. If you pull into the intersection to turn left, you no longer know if it's green, yellow, or red because you literally have pulled past the traffic light. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.1170528,-77.0377635,3a,75y,87.69h,84.46t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s0XCNwR0_8rPBbPTr57NmOA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

Finally, there's this pile of @$$. People trying to use the weird "square" configuration to get to Columbus Avenue while cutting off cars on S 10th street, people pulling out of the Weis Market, Lowther Road making a weird S-bend, people pulling out of Letchworth Road, etc. The only accident I have ever had occurred because I was coming down WB Lowther Road, and someone pulled out from Letchworth Road and T-boned me. Not to mention the fact that they were driving an SUV and I was driving a piddly Saturn Ion. https://www.google.com/maps/@40.2352318,-76.8963027,145m/data=!3m1!1e3

Max Rockatansky

CA 41 and CA 46 near Cholame which also happens to be famous for where James Dean died (when the latter was US 466).  That said the this intersection is finally up for being configured and probably will be far less infamous in the years to come.

zachary_amaryllis

the intersection of us 287 and cr 21 [aka n overland trail] NW of fort Collins . I'm using my phone and can't easily do gsv ... but look it up ... very hairy merge onto the us highway either way
