27,301, & 441
27/301/441

Whatever way you slice it, it is the same three routes.

However, Ocala residents seem to call it four forty one. Maybe that's why they ignore Routes 27 and 301. :bigass:

Got to take the photos myself today.

I think this is a million-dollar question: is your username a reference to that causeway?

It is! I used to live there.

Is the Echelon in Lake Buena Vista still eventually to be built ( as Disney sold Crossroads Shopping Center for it costing lots of jobs) as currently one loop ramp is being constructed in its place where Crossroads once was?

Or did they opt for the loop to be permanent?

On another note. Some pics on I-4 in Sanford of the modified interchange there.

Why is the exit tab for FL-429 south still covered almost 2 years after the ramp opened?

roadman65

I see in Jacksonville they created Gator Bowl Blvd to replace the freeway portion of SR 228 west of the Hart Bridge next to the Sports Complex.

GSV shows the old freeway and new arterial and AA Roads has photos of the replacement arterial. Still piss poor signage on the new boulevard just like the Hart Expressway with no indication you're on that route as well, but might as well. SR 228 isn't signed either along I-95 so might as well imply it ends at US 17 south of I-10.

Heard that changes are coming for Broooksville. AASHTO approved relocation plans for its two US routes.

Don't know when signs are up, but it is coming. So far no info courtesy the Goog, but if anyone knows the link for AASHTO to check recent approval info you can post it for verification.

My source is an FDOT employee who knows first hand, but I'm thumbs with AASHTO stuff on line especially meeting minutes.

Bunch of new state roads in D2:
- SR-262 (former alignment of SR-26 in Melrose Orange Heights)
- SR-200s (section of 221st St under SR-20 in Hawthorne)
- SR-25s (service road between SR-331 and US-441/SR-25 in Gainesville, acts like a jug handle in a way)
- SR-2221 (frontage road adjacent to I-75 at SR-222 in Gainesville)
- SR-25F (SE Sprite Road connecting to O'Leno State Park)
- SR-230s (ramp connecting SR-16 at east end of SR-230)
- more SR-115F roads in SE Jacksonville
- SR-1155 (short road connecting SR-115F to US-90 in SE Jax)

Just to name a few, probably missed some here and there. All of these are unsigned. Many of these are being added due to the definition of "active exclusive" and "active on SHS" changing as I'm aware.

Additionally, I have confirmation that s-suffixes mean "service road" and f-suffixes mean "frontage road."

EDIT: SR-262 is in Orange Heights, not Melrose...
I can drive 55 ONLY when it makes sense.

Be great if the vlog poster covered why Limon, CO is so popular with KDOT and Co DOT ( don't know the acronym for Colorado DOT and don't feel up to arguing with a certain user), however it's The Florida Squeeze.

A lot of these just seem like a total waste. "SR-230s" seems more like it should either be "SR 230 Connector," or even "SR 16 Connector." "SR 25F" should cover all of Southeast Sprite Road from end to end, although I'm not a big fan of the designation. And where was the former alignment of SR 26 in Melrose? I've driven through Melrose, and I haven't seen any evidence of any old alignment of that route.

Heck, meant to put Orange Heights X-( where 26 meets US-301. The overpass remains as SR-26, and the signal connection is SR-262. Thanks for the catch!

Okay, that makes a little more sense. In the case of the "SR 200s" in Hawthorne," it just seems like more of that route should get a new state route designation besides that little sliver between the off and on ramps of 20 to US 301.

D-Dey65

Do you know what I'd like to see for SR 115? More signs showing the connection between the two segments along US Alternate 1, US 1 and I-95. I also want to see more bikeway bridges parallel to the ones over Trout River and Ribault River.

I can't find that. I looked it up, and I found nothing about any changes to any highways. Instead, I found info about shipping and changes in a few random standards for various random aspects of highway material.

The 44A and 876 didn't surprise me, but I didn't know RSW Terminal Access had a number since the interchange was built.

Also found SR 975 from US 1 to NAS Key West (Monroe County Keysheet, Saratoga Avenue). <Never mind, already mentioned here...wrong search terms>

SR 958 - NE 13th Street in Miami from A1A/I-395 to NE 1 Avenue

Quote from: formulanone on January 13, 2025, 12:22:09 PMOther "new" SRs; mostly frontage roads and ramps:
SR 422 - Curiously tiny route near I-75: SW 67 Lane outside Bushnell (a short residential gravel path on Google Maps, no straight-line diagram found but listed with Roadway ID on Sumter County keysheet)
I've seen that road. Southwest 67th Lane, a name that Google Maps also gives to a private driveway off of Southwest 67th Lane.

Quote from: formulanone on January 13, 2025, 12:22:09 PMSR 616F and SR 60F in Tampa - frontage road ramps
So, nobody thought anything more reasonable, like adding a state route designation to the George J. Bean Parkway?

Quote from: formulanone on January 13, 2025, 12:22:09 PMSR 44A in Deland - at Interstate 4 and SR 44
That one should at least have a Volusia County Road designation. The only evidence of that route's existence I've seen are some street name signs.

I'm not going to deny it. I'm okay with that. "SR 618 Spur" would also be acceptable.
