Title: The carnage of south Florida highways
Post by: xcellntbuy on September 14, 2009, 01:05:42 PM
I have indicated below, a 70-picture gallery from the September 14, 2009 edition of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel (Fort Lauderdale's daily paper) showing some of south Florida's notorious wrecks, traffic jams and horrendous delays that occur on our maxed-out highways.  Good pictures of signage and our 10-, 12- and 14-lane behemoths:

I am fortunate enough to avoid most of this traffic 99.99% of the time, living and working in directions and times that are opposite to the great majority of folks.

people need to learn how to drive.

QuoteInvestigators gather around the scene at I-95 and Copans Road in Pompano Beach in April 2000 where a motorist in this van apparently collided with a parked pickup truck and then shot himself to death.

okay, correction, people need to learn how to not be assholes.  Seriously, you're going to show up at the Pearly Gates and your last act on earth was to inconvenience tens of thousands of people going about their business?  Jesus is so not gonna love you for that.

Reminds me of the folks that jump in front of the 8am commuter train... try the 3am freight, dickweed.
