Disappearing I-65

I was pointed to Gary, Indiana by a road enthusiast.  Signs on I-90 at Exit 21 have had the I-65 greened out, and apparently there is no alternate route posted to get to 65.  Anyone know why the greenout?  It wasn't that long ago, either, that I-90 was finally directly connected to I-65 at this exit.

My first inkling was because I-65 SB was closed at the Borman during that interchange's reconstruction and the greenout was made to discourage traffic from entering I-65 from the Toll Road only to find that it would be closed off just a couple miles down the road. I believe there were signs advising travelers to exit at either Cline Avenue (to get down to I-80/94) or at I-80/94 depending on direction of travel to get to I-65 during the closure.

I don't believe it's disappearing.  They are also doing construction on the toll road and contractors do have a tendency of making mistakes.

As a matter of fact, I do own the road.
